Swimming

This week Room 8 went to Dudley Park to participate in swimming lessons. Some of us are learning to put our heads under water and float on our stomachs, some are learning to use a kick board and one of our Room 8 members was swimming a full length of the pool! By the end of our lessons we were very tired but can't wait until next week. Have a look at some of our photos!

  

Children's Days

What a wonderful day! The theme for children's day was 'children are our treasures'. In Room 8 we were able to spend some time with our buddy class and then we had some ice blocks thanks to Clayton Cosgrove. After morning tea we got to sing some amazing songs a learnt a little swahili - Jumbo means hello, the teachers also entertained us with a Jump Jam song. In the afternoon it was all on with the first house competition of 2012, all the children had a wonderful day and are ready to begin swimming next week!
